I was born in Edmonton, Alberta. When I was 11 years old, on a trip to Tofino with my family, I fell in love with Vancouver Island. I finally moved here, my forever-home, when I was 28. I started a business in Victoria and a new branch recently in the Comox Valley where my fiancé and I are moving come October.

Currently, I’m enrolled in the Web & Mobile Application Development diploma here at NIC. My business has been doing well – even growing considerably through the COVID pandemic – however, even from the very beginning, I’ve been found myself constantly searching for software to help me run my business. Usually what I’m looking for either doesn’t exist, or it seriously lacks in features or functionality that leaves me wanting. So, in early 2020 I took it upon myself to pivot in a new and interesting direction – to develop the software that should be driving every small business in North America. I’m pretty excited to start down this road and I look forward to seeing where it leads me.
